We are seeking an exceptional individual to support the scale-up of our LFP cathode material synthesis. From day one, you'll learn and contribute to our end-to-end LFP production workflow, including precursor selection and optimization, thermal synthesis, and cathode characterization and preparation for battery applications.
You will arrive at the ground floor as we continue to grow our ElectroFactory and will be working in lockstep with our cathode production team to increase our LFP production velocity. Your contributions will directly impact a real process designed to meet growing LFP demands.

Responsibilities Include:
- Work directly with founders and engineers to design experiments and scale up output
- Apply electrochemical intuition to link materials and synthesis parameters with electrochemical performance
- Help prime our LFP production for industrial scale
- Operate and troubleshoot synthesis and processing equipment, including mixers, mills, furnaces, and spray dryers
- Handle chemicals safely, including acids, bases, oxidizers, and compressed gases
- Hands-on experience with scaling up processes relevant to battery manufacturing
- Mentorship from experienced engineers and researchers

- Develop LFP precursor preparation and synthesis processes that are primed for industrial scale

- Handle chemicals safely, including acids, bases, oxidizers, and compressed gases
- Experience in cathode synthesis
- Familiarity with spray drying
- Highly adaptable with a passion for learning new skills
- Paid 8-week internship: $35/hour
