About Inlyte Energy

Every day shows the increasing effects of climate change and the need for low-cost, clean, and geopolitically secure energy sources. Solar and wind are now more economic than fossil fuels. However, an electrical grid powered by intermittent renewables requires massive deployment of low-cost energy storage. Inlyte Energy’s salt and iron battery technology leverages the proven design of the sodium metal halide battery to provide an energy storage solution with the unique combination of high efficiency, long lifetime, competitive energy density, and stellar safety, using the most abundant commodities—iron and sodium. By leveraging a commercially mature technology platform along with new innovations, Inlyte will provide low-cost energy storage for the grid that can be scaled rapidly and manufactured globally with local supply chains.

We have assembled the world experts in sodium metal halide technology along with an operational pilot manufacturing line and are producing cells that work today.
